Resilience Warriors: Self-Care to Rebuild After the Storm

  • Registration Closed

Dealing with change is the foundation of many helping professions. 2020 has brought a plethora of challenges and as front-line healthcare workers, we have experienced, heard, and been exposed not only to our own stress and change, but the distress our clients bring to our work. It's helpful to understand the behaviors that contribute to burnout and to identify things we can do to care for ourselves. This webinar will explore what we've learned from research about the ways we can identify risk factors for burnout, ways to increase self-care, and attendees will learn culturally informed information about Hozho.

Learning Objectives: 1. Learn the poor self-care deadly dozen. 2. Review the benefits of self-care in your daily personal and professional life. 3. Learn about the Navajo wellness philosophy Hozho and how you might bring some of it into your self-care regime.
