Michael Aurit is a nationally recognized professional divorce and family mediator, Arizona attorney, and Co-Founder of The Aurit Center for Divorce Mediation in Scottsdale, Arizona. Michael is a Professor at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law, where he teaches family mediation. He is currently President of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators (APFM). He has achieved the prominent status of Advanced Practitioner with APFM. He holds his Juris Doctorate degree from Pepperdine University School of Law and Master’s Degree in Dispute Resolution from the prestigious Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Law. Under Michael’s leadership, The Aurit Center has been voted “Best of our Valley” for Family Law in Arizona Foothills Magazine for the past four consecutive years, 2016 – 2019. Michael is a Certified Member of the Maricopa County Superior Court Mediation Roster. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors and as Ethics Chair of the Maricopa County Association of Family Mediators.
