Clinical Supervision Training - 6 Hour Renewal Course - On-Demand

Course Overview

This training will provide the participant with 6 hours of education reviewing supervision methods, models and techniques, roles and responsibilities of the supervisor and provide opportunity to practice in providing feedback and evaluation to supervisees in their work. (This course was originally recorded live on April 24-25, 2021.)

Sheila Babendir, EdD, LPC, is Behavioral Director of Atembis, located in Flagstaff, AZ.  Sheila graduated from Marian College in 1981 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology / Counseling Education.  She graduated with a Doctorate of Education in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in 2009. Sheila was licensed in counseling in Arizona in 2004.  She completed internships and research specialties in Bipolar Disorder, Pediatric Bipolar Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorders.  Sheila is a president elect of Arizona Counseling Association.

This program offers 6 CE hours.

 Arizona Counseling Association has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 2003. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Arizona Counseling Association is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

On-Demand Training Details

This on-demand training contains two (2) video recordings, each being three (3) hours in length. You must complete viewing both video recordings (please note you do not need to view both video recordings on the same day, you can view over multiple days). Once you have completed viewing all recordings, you will then be promoted to complete a knowledge assessment quiz based on information presented in the video recordings and handouts. The knowledge assessment quiz contains a variety of true/false and multiple choice questions. You must receive at least 80% correct on the knowledge assessment quiz in order to pass the quiz. Once you have completed the quiz, you will then need to complete a training evaluation before having access to your certificate of attendance. All of the components listed above can be found under the contents tab.
